Dr. Pete Limon
Dr. Limon is a 14-year teaching veteran of various universities. He holds a Doctoral of Computer Science with an emphasis in Information Assurance (DCS) from Colorado Technical University. He holds two Master’s Degrees from Capella University and National University an MBA from Stevens-Henager and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from the University of The Pacific, and is a National volunteer for ACCET (The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training) which is a private, a non-profit organization in the United States that provides national accreditation to private, post-secondary educational institutes. He has experience in professional development, curriculum writing, and has been a teaching mentor for many new professors. In 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 he won the Teacher of the Year award while teaching Medical Assisting and Computer Science courses at California College San Diego. He has also held various academic titles such as a Lead Instructor, Associate Dean, Program Chair, and Director of Education. He has over 19 years of field experience and has held various industry certifications such as CompTIA Security A +, Network +, Security +, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, and CEH.
